This unit explores experiential travel options—voluntourism, educational programs, specialty tours, sports travel—and practical sustainability choices for transport and lodging. Students build on foundational travel concepts to evaluate, select, and design travel experiences that maximize learning, community benefit, and environmental stewardship in preparation for advanced implementation in Unit 4.
