Sustaining Learning and Closure

This unit focuses on finalizing, evaluating, and sustaining training initiatives by teaching strategies for effective session closure, transitions, feedback collection, and ongoing learning culture maintenance. Learners will practice partnership building with SMEs and volunteers, use multimedia and social tools for documentation and reinforcement, and prepare data-driven plans to iterate and scale training in real workplace settings.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze elements of a sustained learning culture and evaluate logistical and transition strategies to maintain learner engagement and program continuity after sessions conclude
• Apply techniques for designing effective session closings, homework review, and feedback incentives that promote transfer of learning and measurable outcomes
• Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain partnerships with subject-matter experts, volunteers, and peers through structured coaching circles, role definitions, and communication protocols
• Evaluate the effectiveness of multimedia and social documentation (e.g., video posts, annotated artifacts, pictures of proof) and develop a data-driven plan to improve and scale future training efforts
