Applied Generative Content Creation

This unit focuses on applying generative AI techniques to create, refine, and evaluate long-form and multimedia content across audiences and platforms. Students will deepen prompt engineering skills, learn to troubleshoot integration and hallucination issues, and incorporate responsible practices such as citations and audience adaptation in preparation for a culminating project.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze differences among generative AI models, autonomous agents, and personalization options to select appropriate tools for specific content goals
• Apply advanced prompt engineering strategies, constraints, and supplemental data techniques to generate, refine, and troubleshoot long-form text, speech, image, and music outputs
• Demonstrate methods to ensure content quality and integrity by integrating citations, detecting and mitigating hallucinations or misleading outputs, and resolving common software integration or freezing issues
• Evaluate audience fit and market appeal of AI-generated content by adapting style, tone, format, and delivery for web, speech, and other platforms in preparation for final project development
