Advanced Creative Applications with GenAI

This culminating unit builds on foundational generative AI principles to focus on advanced creative workflows, multi-format production, and quality assurance. Students will learn to design collaborative processes with AI, produce and repurpose content across media, and evaluate and mitigate factual, logical, and ethical issues in AI outputs.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze and redesign creative workflows to integrate generative AI techniques—including prompt sequencing, meta-prompts, iteration, and referencing past interactions—to improve ideation speed and output quality.
• Apply advanced prompting and optimization strategies (explicit style, logic/reasoning prompts, sequencing, iterations, and SEO keyword optimization) to generate coherent, concise, multi-author and platform-specific content.
• Demonstrate the ability to repurpose and transform content and data into multiple artifacts by producing a portfolio (e.g., logo/slogan, social post, book excerpt, data-driven visualization) tailored to a specified artistic style or brand.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for factual accuracy, logical consistency, bias, and ethical concerns, and implement mitigation measures and iterative prompt adjustments to address common pitfalls and system limitations.
