AI Implementation and Optimization

This capstone unit builds on prior prompt-writing fundamentals and focuses on real-world implementation, optimization, and governance of AI in business communication and marketing contexts. Students will practice creating and evaluating prompts for automation, chatbots, social media, and content repurposing while addressing security, cost, and future-proofing considerations.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze real-world business scenarios to select appropriate AI prompt strategies while identifying limitations, biases, and cybersecurity risks
• Apply prompt-engineering techniques to develop and optimize prompts for chatbots, automated marketing, social media, and content repurposing, producing at least one functional prototype for each use case
• Evaluate GPT plugins, custom models, and automation tools to compare costs, ROI, and vendor capabilities and recommend solutions that balance automation with human oversight
• Design an operational workflow that integrates AI automation with human decision checkpoints, verification processes, and professional development measures to future-proof roles and maintain content quality
