Cloud Collaboration and Communication

This unit develops students’ skills in collaborative cloud-based productivity and professional digital communication. Learners will practice sharing and co-authoring files, managing meetings and messaging, and applying account security and organizational strategies to maintain effective, secure workflows.

Learning Objectives

• Apply collaborative file management and co-authoring techniques by sharing files, setting permissions, resolving access issues, and working on shared documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
• Demonstrate effective digital communication and meeting practices by composing and responding to email and calendar invitations, managing availability, and starting or joining video meetings and chat sessions
• Evaluate and implement account security and privacy measures by creating strong passwords, enabling two-step verification, and managing group roles and access controls
• Analyze and organize digital information by managing contacts, inbox and calendar settings, using spreadsheet ranges as simple databases, and applying document styles and page setup for professional outputs
