This course is built to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Languages Other Than English, Level I (19 TAC §114.39), across all three modes of communication: interpersonal, interpretive and presentational.
Unit 1 introduces greetings and farewells, the alphabet and written accents, self-introduction, numbers and dates, and the verb ser. It closes with an integrated performance checkpoint in all three modes of communication.
