Capstone: Finalize, Deliver, Advance

This unit synthesizes prior studio and production skills into professional project finalization, distribution, and career readiness. Students will complete revision cycles, apply accessibility and typographic best practices, manage asset licensing (including AI-generated content), and prepare/maintain a market-ready portfolio and scalable workflows.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze critique and stakeholder feedback to perform iterative revisions (Phases 6–8), document changes with sketches and process work, and produce final deliverables that meet client and production specifications
• Apply accessibility and typographic principles—including colorblind-friendly chart/graph techniques, appropriate font size and leading, and avoidance of common typographic errors—to static and adaptive design layouts
• Demonstrate compliance with usage rights and licensing for third-party and AI-generated assets, and implement cost-reduction and optimized advertising strategies during finalization and execution
• Evaluate and update a professional portfolio and career artifacts by keyword optimization, soliciting external review, proposing new/expanded design roles, and maintaining dynamic adaptive design workflows
