Advanced Grant Presentation and Outreach

This capstone unit synthesizes grant-writing, presentation, and outreach skills with an emphasis on AI-assisted tools, ethical practice, and international funding strategies. Students will prepare and critique persuasive materials, practice delivery and follow-up, and evaluate budgets, objectives, and evaluation plans to align proposals with grantor priorities.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze domestic and international funding opportunities and prioritize prospects based on organizational fit, eligibility, and strategic impact
• Apply AI-assisted tools to create persuasive headlines, slides, handouts, and visual storytelling while maintaining human oversight and ethical use of technology
• Demonstrate effective presentation and follow-up techniques, including handling questions, expressing gratitude, maintaining a positive tone, and tailoring messages to grantor needs
• Evaluate grant components—goals and objectives, budgets, and evaluation plans—for clarity, realism, and alignment with grantor criteria, and revise to improve competitiveness
