AI Strategy, Implementation, and Ethics

This unit teaches students how to translate AI opportunities into accountable, scalable implementations by covering operating models, required technical capabilities, and governance across global contexts. Students will learn prompt engineering for major LLMs, identify and prioritize use cases (including healthcare), and evaluate business impact versus implementation ease while applying responsible AI practices.

• Analyze AI target operating models, ecosystem configurations, and required technical capabilities to assess organizational readiness and map AI opportunities
• Apply responsible AI frameworks, risk-transparency practices, and regulatory checklists to design mitigation and governance plans for innovation teams
• Demonstrate prompt engineering techniques across Gemini, ChatGPT, Ernie, and transformer-based models and categorize productivity use cases by expected impact and implementation complexity
• Evaluate AI project opportunities (including healthcare scenarios) by comparing business impact, implementation ease, and team skill requirements to prioritize actionable recommendations
