AI–Human Fusion Strategies

This unit explores the operational modes of Artificial Integrity—Human-First, AI-First, and Fusion—and the transition strategies that move organizations from one mode to another. Students will learn blueprint-driven, data-centered approaches to redesign HR operating models, manage human capital transitions, and apply ethical guardrails that preserve human value while leveraging algorithmic augmentation.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze the distinctions among Human-First, AI-First, and Fusion modes and their impacts on HR policy, decision-making, and organizational operating models.
• Apply a blueprint-over-structure, data-over-procedure approach to create a transition plan that moves an HR process from Human-First toward Fusion Mode, including milestones and metrics.
• Demonstrate design of AI-driven operating models and algorithmic-boost interventions that prioritize human capital value, identifying required role transitions, reskilling pathways, and success indicators.
• Evaluate ethical, legal, and value-tradeoff considerations when shifting between modes and recommend governance guardrails and accountability mechanisms to ensure responsible deployment.
