This unit teaches students how to create professional, organized notes and documentation practices for AI projects and startups, and how to select and manage names and pseudonyms for brands and AI personas. Students will learn metadata, versioning, privacy, and legal/ethical considerations to prepare clear, reproducible records and defensible naming decisions for entrepreneurial use.
Learning Objectives
- Analyze common note-taking and documentation systems for AI projects and select an appropriate structure that uses metadata, tags, and version control to support collaboration and reproducibility
- Apply professional note-taking techniques to produce organized, searchable project records (including timestamps, changelogs, and summaries) for a sample AI business case
- Evaluate naming options for brands and pseudonyms by assessing trademark risk, availability, audience fit, and privacy implications, then justify a selected name for an entrepreneurial AI product
- Demonstrate implementation of consistent naming conventions and pseudonymous practices across platforms while addressing ethical and legal considerations such as disclosure, consumer transparency, and data privacy
