Azure AI Agents and Applications

This capstone unit synthesizes agent architectures, Azure AI services, and cross-industry use cases to prepare learners for the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals exam and real-world solution design. Students will review core AI workloads (ML, computer vision, NLP, generative AI), build and evaluate Azure AI agents (including Copilot and Azure OpenAI), and apply responsible AI and governance best practices in enterprise scenarios.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze the architecture and core components of AI agents, including Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI agents, to identify appropriate agent patterns for enterprise scenarios
• Apply Azure services and tools (Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI Service, Computer Vision, and NLP tools) to design and prototype end-to-end AI solutions and agent workflows
• Demonstrate responsible AI principles and governance practices in Azure by incorporating security, privacy, fairness, and compliance controls into solution designs
• Evaluate cross-industry AI use cases (healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing, education, customer service) and translate business requirements into exam-ready implementation plans and study strategies
