SAT Strategies and Quantitative Skills

This unit strengthens evidence-based reading and grammar strategies while building foundational quantitative skills for the Digital SAT (formulas, number operations, coordinate and 3-D geometry, and probability). It also teaches time management, online adaptive test navigation, and stress-management techniques to improve accuracy and pacing on practice administrations.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze reading passages and prompts to identify main ideas, evidence, and efficient time-allocation strategies for on-test prioritization.
• Apply standard English conventions and grammar rules to identify and correct sentence- and paragraph-level errors in SAT-style items.
• Demonstrate quantitative problem-solving by using appropriate formulas and operations to solve arithmetic, algebra, coordinate geometry, 3-D geometry, and probability questions.
• Evaluate and implement test-day and online adaptive strategies — including pacing, break management, and stress-reduction techniques — to improve accuracy under timed conditions.
