This capstone unit synthesizes advanced corporate finance topics—risk management, valuation, financing strategies, international considerations, and behavioral influences—to prepare students for real-world corporate financial decision making. Through case-based and computational activities, students integrate techniques for assessing investments, structuring M&A financing, managing multi‑dimensional risk, and communicating recommendations to stakeholders.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze complex corporate risk exposures (market, liquidity, operational, off‑balance‑sheet, foreign exchange, and crypto) and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies such as hedging, diversification, factoring, and liquidity management
• Apply valuation and capital‑budgeting techniques (NPV, IRR, scenario and sensitivity analysis) and computational finance tools to assess investment performance, prioritize projects, and structure financing for mergers and acquisitions
