Advanced G Suite Productivity

This capstone unit develops advanced skills in managing email and calendar, collaborating on and formatting cloud-based spreadsheets and presentations, and securing and integrating G Suite with devices and third-party tools. Students will combine application-level features with privacy and interoperability practices to optimize digital workspaces for professional use.

Learning Objectives

• Demonstrate efficient email and calendar management by configuring Gmail and Google Calendar settings (filters, blocking, reading external accounts, time zones, event export, and meeting optimizations) to support professional communication workflows
• Apply advanced document, spreadsheet, and presentation techniques by formatting cells and ranges, using search-and-replace, editing master slides, animating and running slide shows, and handling imported Microsoft Office files to produce polished deliverables
• Analyze and manage collaboration and group communication tools by creating and moderating Google Groups/posts, posting and responding appropriately, and configuring sharing and visibility settings for accurate information access
• Evaluate and implement device, account, and app security and privacy controls by configuring activity controls, managing devices, controlling third-party app access, and setting personal information visibility to protect data and maintain compliance
