Enterprise Automation Orchestration

This unit examines how to design, orchestrate, and operationalize enterprise automation by exploring pillars, roles, technical capabilities, and real-world use cases such as incident, lead, payment, and delivery workflows. Students will connect input methods, execution engines, and BigOps practices to create scalable, governable automation solutions that prepare them for implementation in the next unit.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze pillars of enterprise automation and operational roles (including BigOps) to identify opportunities and constraints across incident management, lead management, payment reporting, and delivery use cases
• Apply input method capabilities and orchestration patterns to design end-to-end automation workflows that integrate triggers, connectors, and execution engines
• Demonstrate assembly and documentation of a complete automation solution by mapping components (inputs, orchestrators, execution engines) for scalability, monitoring, and error handling
• Evaluate trade-offs in proposed automation designs and recommend improvements for reliability, governance, and alignment with enterprise business objectives
