Foundations of Digital HR Strategy

This unit introduces how digital and AI transformation create competitive advantage for organizations and the human resources strategies required to realize that advantage. Learners examine domain-based design, emerging technologies, talent models, employee value propositions, agile team rituals, and organizational building blocks to prepare for designing and implementing digital HR solutions in subsequent units.

• Analyze how digital transformation and AI can create competitive advantage for organizations and articulate implications for HR strategy using case examples
• Evaluate the domain-based approach to organizing work and technology and compare it to point-to-point architectures in terms of scalability and HR implications
• Design a talent plan that identifies which roles to develop in-house, required capabilities (including for generative AI), and a compelling employee value proposition to attract and retain those skills
