Advanced Collaboration and Communication

This unit develops advanced Microsoft 365 skills for effective team collaboration, meeting facilitation, and content lifecycle management using tools such as Whiteboard, Forms, Planner, Yammer, Sway, and digital signatures. Students build on core productivity skills to automate follow‑ups with AI, organize shared content with lists/boards/cards, and foster engagement and accountability across cloud teams.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze workplace scenarios to select appropriate Microsoft 365 communication and collaboration tools (Meetings, Yammer, Sway, Whiteboard) to maximize participant engagement and meeting outcomes
• Apply advanced content‑management features (Lists, Boards, Cards, Favorites, Planner) to organize, assign, and track collaborative work across a team
• Demonstrate creation and administration of interactive artifacts (Forms, Sway, Praise, Whiteboard) and implement meeting best practices to capture decisions, assign action items, and wrap up meetings efficiently
• Evaluate document workflows and apply security and completion tools (electronic signatures, AI assistance for follow‑ups, approvals) to ensure timely handoffs, accountability, and accessible document‑at‑a‑glance summaries
