Advanced Collaboration and Productivity Tools

This unit expands foundational G Suite skills into advanced, real-world workflows for calendars, contacts, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and communication tools. Students will practice collaboration, mobile and meeting configurations, data visualization, and group/chat workflows to prepare for higher-level project and workplace tasks.

Learning Objectives

• Apply calendar and contact management techniques to create and import events, subscribe to shared calendars, configure verification and mobile sync, and manage multiple calendars for scheduling accuracy
• Demonstrate collaborative file and meeting workflows by sharing and reviewing documents, managing version and comment-based feedback, sharing resources in video meetings, and participating in chat rooms, groups, and bots
• Create and format productivity artifacts by constructing lists and columns in documents, inserting images and footnotes, building charts and pivot tables in spreadsheets, and designing collaborative slide presentations
• Evaluate and select appropriate digital communication tools and meeting settings by analyzing scenarios to determine when to use chat, email, groups, video, or bots while managing privacy and access controls
