Foundations of AI-Driven Project Management

This unit introduces the evolution of artificial intelligence and its practical application to the initiating and concept phases of project management. Learners explore chat interfaces, prompt engineering, decision‑support and forecasting with ChatGPT, and evaluate people‑management, ethical, and cybersecurity considerations to prepare for deeper technical and implementation work in subsequent units.

• Analyze the evolution of AI and its contemporary capabilities and summarize implications for project management, organizational decision-making, and personalized learning in a written report
• Demonstrate initiating and concept‑phase PM‑AI practices by producing an AI-enabled project brief, stakeholder inquiry templates, and a mapped initiating process flow using chat interfaces
• Apply prompt engineering and advanced ChatGPT techniques to generate accurate information, produce project forecasts, and support at least three project decisions in a simulated case
• Evaluate ethical, people-management, risk, and cybersecurity considerations and recommend eight actionable principles for organizational AI model integration
