Foundations of Microsoft Copilot Studio

This unit introduces core generative AI concepts, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and the historical context of OpenAI and Microsoft investments that underpin Copilot offerings. Learners will explore the Microsoft Copilot portfolio, alignment with company personas, and Copilot Studio’s audience, platform features, prerequisites, and create a first-agent outline to prepare for hands-on implementation in subsequent units.
