This unit examines major religious, philosophical, political, and military developments from ancient civilizations through the early medieval period, including the rise of Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Greek and Roman thought, and key events like 1066 and the First Crusade. Students analyze how ideas, laws, technologies, and conflicts shaped societies and prepared the world for later historical change.
